We have tried to recruit agents or suppliers through announcements, hoping to enhance our market competitiveness by expanding our product lines. However, a lack of clear communication about the details of the collaboration led to a series of confusions that put the plan on hold. This experience made us realize the need to establish a clearer and more efficient cooperation process.

In the past, we have received many cooperation inquiries involving various aspects such as website establishment, detailed charging issues, product video production or design services, and profit distribution. These issues reflect a major shortcoming in our failure to provide clear guidelines for collaboration.
Improvement plans and future prospects
In order to solve this problem, we decided to reorganize and make public these cooperation details after improving the operating procedures and systems. When these preparations are completed, we will re-invite partners interested in cooperation to contact us. When we launched Coffee Stage's website, our initial sales strategy focused on Google search optimization. After half a year of operation, we were pleasantly surprised to find that customers from all over the world were making inquiries and placing orders online.
At first, we did not consider the specific operations of import and export, because each country’s regulations and listing procedures are different, taxes may be very high, and some products may face import restrictions. Therefore, we initially only set up sales points in Hong Kong and Macau.
Expansion strategy and multi-language support
However, with the increase in website data and the richness of product categories, we realized that if we were limited to the Hong Kong market, we might become just like other merchants and become an ordinary retailer. Therefore, starting in 2022, we will begin to translate website content into English and Simplified Chinese to attract more overseas customers and gradually expand our sales scope and performance.
Optimization of payment systems and tax processing
By the first quarter of 2024, we have successfully enabled the website to support Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English, and can automatically calculate and display tariffs and shipping costs. Our goal is to further optimize the payment system to reach an advanced level similar to that of large e-commerce platforms such as Taobao and Amazon. Since Hong Kong is a duty-free area, local purchases do not need to display taxes, but this is not the case for international transactions, which increases the cost and complexity of communicating shipping costs and taxes with out-of-town customers.
Plan to open up new markets
As of the second quarter of 2024, we have resolved these restrictions and plan to open markets in countries such as Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, South Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom. We hope that these efforts will further enhance the international visibility of the Coffee Stage brand and allow more global consumers to recognize our brand and products.

In the second quarter of 2024, the Coffee Stage website will be committed to improving the quality of multi-language translation and no longer relying on traditional Google Translate. As website content continues to grow, the task of manually translating each piece becomes increasingly difficult, especially when it comes to maintaining cultural accuracy. Therefore, we will use advanced artificial intelligence technologies, such as ChatGPT and DeepL, to perform translation work.
