中環PMQ Coffee Agenda 2024展覽回顧:咖啡愛好者的非去不可之地

Mid-ring PMQ Coffee Agenda 2024 Exhibition Review: A Must-Visit Place for Coffee Lovers

Why Attend Coffee Agenda 2024?

If you don't have any special plans this week, I personally strongly recommend you visit the Coffee Agenda 2024 exhibition at PMQ. This exhibition is a must-visit opportunity for coffee enthusiasts for the following reasons:

Firstly, Hong Kong rarely hosts such large-scale coffee exhibitions, and this time, through collaboration with brands from around the world, it brings a variety of award-winning and competition beans. These coffee beans are not only expensive but also hard to find in the regular market. At the exhibition, you can also taste championship-grade hand-brewed coffee, which is a rare experience.

Additionally, one of the biggest highlights of this exhibition is the ability to taste high-quality coffee from around the world in one place. For friends who love exploring different coffee flavors, this is a great opportunity.

The Biggest Impression of This Year's Exhibition

The biggest impression this year's exhibition gave me is the significant increase in the number of rare coffee beans. Compared to the past two years, many booths this year brought various rare competition beans, with almost more than half of the booths displaying them. Moreover, the age range of visitors this year is broader than before, even starting to see more tourists.

There are also many recommendations for this exhibition on social media, so if you're interested, tomorrow would be the best day to visit, as the weekend is expected to have a very large crowd. When I entered around 3 PM today, I already felt more crowded than last year, so I suggest friends who want to go should go as early as possible.

What's Special This Year

The biggest difference between this year and last year is that many vendors are prepared with hand-brewed coffee on-site, which was less common last year. If you are particularly interested in some brands, there is also a chance to see the founders of the brands personally brewing, which is undoubtedly a great experience for coffee lovers.

This year's exhibition also has significantly more dessert booths than last year, allowing visitors to enjoy coffee while pairing it with delicious desserts. Last year, there were only one or two dessert options, so many people needed to go out to buy them and then return, but this year, you can solve everything on-site.

However, this year there seem to be fewer booths for professional equipment like espresso machines, with more focus on the coffee tasting experience. Brands like Fellow, Hario, and 2waycup also have displays, but the overall focus is more on coffee beans and hand-brewing experiences.

Summary

If I had to choose, I would prefer this year's exhibition because coffee equipment can be found elsewhere in Hong Kong, but it's rare to see such a diverse collection of rare coffee beans in one place. If you are a coffee enthusiast, this year's Coffee Agenda 2024 is not to be missed. Bring your coffee cup and enjoy this exciting coffee feast!
