Coffee Stage's First In-house Design — Brewista Pro | Artisan Kettle Stand

Our Brewista Pro | Artisan Kettle Stand series was created to organise coffee equipment more efficiently. Every version uses PLA carbon-fibre composite, balancing structural rigidity with a restrained appearance.

Stand Basic includes a drawer and a larger lower bay for storing coffee tools or a scale.
Stand Air uses a lighter, value-focused structure for everyday storage needs.

Both versions are designed to coordinate with Brewista equipment and suit a home, office or café coffee corner.

Coffee Stage's First In-house Product — Brewista Pro | Artisan Kettle Stand

Our first in-house design was developed and refined to make coffee-station storage more practical. The complete series is made from PLA carbon-fibre material , selected for increased rigidity and a refined, functional finish.

Note: Brewista kettles are larger than the kettle used with the Fellow Stand, so this product uses nearly 35% more material. The added material changes the production cost and means the price differs from the Fellow version. Pricing is set separately for this exact design.

Purposeful Design for Organised Storage

This product was developed to address the difficulty of organising coffee equipment in a limited home or office space. General-purpose organisers can be too large or may not match the footprint of a kettle and scale, making the coffee corner harder rather than easier to use.

The design was refined around these needs:

100% Designed and Made in Hong Kong

This is our first product to be designed, refined and produced entirely in Hong Kong . It is a locally made storage product intended to add practical organisation and a considered visual detail to a home or office.

Unlike a basic 3D-printed organiser, this design was iterated to improve fit, structure and day-to-day usability. It can serve as a practical storage tool and a visual part of the coffee corner.

The series is available in Stand Basic and Stand Air two versions:

Brewista Pro | Artisan Kettle Stand Series — Basic:

Stand Basic includes a drawer for coffee tools or coffee beans and suits home, office or café use.

• Multi-purpose, Larger Storage Layout: The lower bay accommodates various coffee scales, including the Fellow Tally Pro and Acaia Pearl, subject to the exact product dimensions.

Brewista Pro | Artisan Kettle Stand Series — Air:

Stand Air focuses on practical storage with a lighter, value-oriented structure.

• Value-focused Option: Compared with Stand Basic, Stand Air removes some material from the support structure while retaining the strength and stability needed for its intended use. This creates a lighter, more affordable option for home or office settings.
• Simple and Practical: A lighter design for straightforward everyday storage.

Product Features and Design Approach

Appearance

Although similar products exist, this design refines material choice and production details to improve the overall fit and finish.

Basic 3D-printed products commonly use standard PLA, which can show pronounced layer lines in FDM printing and may vary between production runs. Uneven lines, chipped corners or heat-related deformation can occur, particularly in thinner areas, and may affect stability and durability.

To address these issues, we use a high-rigidity PLA carbon-fibre composite and repeatedly refine the print settings. The stated production tolerance is within 3%. A documented SOP guides production so each unit follows the approved design, although normal FDM layer lines and minor production variation may still be visible.

Durability and Stability

The design gives priority to practical long-term use rather than reducing material at every point.

• Improved Resistance to Heat Deformation: Standard PLA can deform after prolonged exposure to heat. The PLA carbon-fibre composite increases rigidity compared with a standard PLA stand, helping it remain stable in normal use. It is still a thermoplastic product and must be kept away from high heat.
• Considered Production Details: Material selection and print settings are refined to balance practicality, appearance and durability.

Drawer Design

Selecting the drawer slide was a key design challenge. A basic 3D-printed drawer may begin to bind after 50–60 repeated cycles and can shed particles as the surfaces wear.

For this reason, the Stand Basic drawer uses a custom metal slide. It is selected for smoother repeated operation and greater wear resistance than a 3D-printed slide. After repeated testing, a compact slide was chosen to maintain drawer stability and movement within the limited space. The design costs more to produce, reflecting the focus on durability and considered detailing.

Easier Access

Some comparable stands use short feet to reduce material, which can make a scale stored below harder to remove. This design addresses that issue in two ways:

• Adjustable Storage Feet: Adjust the height to suit different storage needs and use environments.
• Larger Access Area: The lower scale bay has a larger opening so the scale can be removed more easily with one hand.

Important Use Notes

1. Cleaning
   Because this product is made using 3D FDM printing, do not clean it with hot water; high temperatures may deform the material. Wipe gently with a slightly damp, soft cloth, then dry it.

2. Print-seam Note
   Due to the nature of 3D printing, a small seam mark may be visible on the back. This is a normal production characteristic and does not normally affect use.

3. Compatible Models
   This product is designed specifically for the Brewista Pro or Artisan temperature-control kettle. It is not compatible with other versions in the Brewista X series. Confirm the exact kettle model before purchase.
