Summary
WDT can help break up clumps and redistribute grounds before espresso extraction. The IKAPE V6 Lighthouse Series — Espresso WDT Tool introduces a different storage and adjustment approach. Its press-button retracting mechanism stores the sharp needles inside the aluminium-alloy body when not in use, helping reduce accidental contact and bar clutter. Its adjustable needle-angle design allows the 8 × 0.4mm steel needles to spread outwards with a turn, covering a wider area of the basket when desired. A weighted lighthouse-style storage base provides a dedicated place for the tool. WDT can support puck preparation, but does not by itself guarantee even extraction.
Product Features
Press-button Retracting Needle Design
The Lighthouse Series uses a mechanical-pencil-like retracting structure. Press the top button to extend the 8 steel needles with an audible cue. After use, follow the supplied instructions to retract them by the specified upward flick or inverted position. Keep fingers clear of the points and confirm that all needles are stored before placing the tool down.
Adjustable Needle Angle
With the needles extended, turn the adjustment nut gently anticlockwise to spread the 8 needles radially. The wider setting can cover more of a larger basket per movement, while the vertical setting allows more focused work near the centre. Select the angle for the basket and technique, and avoid forcing the mechanism.
Lighthouse-style Magnetic Storage Base
The dedicated lighthouse-style base keeps the WDT tool upright when not in use. It combines a weighted body, a non-slip pad and magnetic positioning for a stable return point on a flat counter. Stability still depends on the surface and accidental impact, so place it away from edges.
Full Aluminium-alloy Body
The body and adjustment nut are made from lightweight aluminium alloy with a matte anodised finish. CNC machining is used to fit the moving components and support smooth operation. Keep the mechanism clean and dry; long-term feel will depend on use and maintenance.
Includes a Full Set of Spare Needles
Each Lighthouse Series WDT tool also includes 8 new 0.4mm spare steel needles. These provide replacements if a needle is bent or lost. Needles are sharp consumable parts: replace them carefully according to the instructions and discontinue use if the holder or mechanism is damaged.

Delivery needs to be informed
After payment is completed, we will deliver the item within 24 hours of the order collected on the working day. The product booking depends on the product replenishment time and is usually sent within 10-14 working days. If the product is booked for too long, guests can also apply for a refund from us within 15 working days from the date of purchase.
Delivery information
All shipments are sent to "SF Express". Free shipping in Hong Kong (excluding remote areas or offshore islands) is allowed if the entire store spends an amount of HKD$500 or above. If the consumption amount is less than HKD$499, we will charge an additional HKD$30 as a shipping fee subsidy, without limiting quantity and weight. If you need to send it to another country or region, please contact us to discuss shipping methods. You can also choose to collect your goods from our Yuen Long Studio.
Exchange/refund policy
After receiving the goods, please check the contents of the goods immediately. If the customer finds the product damaged (excluding the packaging box) within 72 hours after the product is collected, and the damage is not caused by the customer, please contact the Coffee Stage as soon as possible to arrange the replacement. Reports after 72 hours of delay will not be accepted. You can also go to the following page to view the detailed exchange policy/refund policy of our store.
