Enter the world of specialty coffee
If you are considering exploring the world of specialty coffee, PMQ Coffee Agenda 2023 is a starting point you can’t miss. Here, you can not only find a variety of household-grade coffee equipment, but also a variety of local brands of coffee beans, allowing you to experience the multiple flavors of coffee at once.
Inadvertently, I embarked on this coffee exploration journey in advance. I originally planned to participate this weekend, but unexpected free time allowed me to be one of the first explorers. Here, I want to share with you what I saw.
The best choice for beginners to enter the world of premium coffee
If you are thinking about starting your specialty coffee journey, this market is ideal for you. In Hong Kong, it is rare to see such a large-scale coffee-themed exhibition, which not only displays various household-level coffee equipment, but also special coffee bean brands from the local area. In just an hour or two, you can visit every corner of PMQ. If you want to learn more, you may stay longer.
Comparison of highlights with the previous coffee exhibition
Thinking back to when I attended last year, the market had a significant growth in exhibitors and coffee equipment. Compared with last year, I found more hand-brewed coffee equipment and espresso machines, and there were even brands on site to promote them. In addition, the market also has a coffee exhibition area. Although I did not see any activities held on the opening day, I look forward to more on-site interactions and experiences in the following days.
Multiculturalism at the market
I noticed that there seemed to be more coffee bean exhibitors this year than last year, and the visitors were more diverse, and some were even elderly people who were exposed to specialty coffee for the first time. This got me thinking, is the appeal of specialty coffee expanding to different age groups and groups?
Looking to the future of coffee culture
I look forward to the day when Hong Kong can host large-scale coffee exhibitions like those in Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and Europe, allowing more people to have the opportunity to experience and explore the diverse world of coffee. At this stage, I am very satisfied to be able to participate in PMQ’s coffee market, but I believe that as the passion and pursuit of coffee continue to escalate, everyone’s expectations for coffee culture will be higher.
I hope this hasty sharing can bring you some useful information and feelings. Even if my words are unrefined, I hope you can feel my love and expectation for the coffee market. Thanks for reading, see you at PMQ Coffee Agenda!
