Product Introduction

The HARIO white ceramic Switch pairs an Arita porcelain dripper with an immersion switch for everyday brewing with your chosen steeping time. It suits those who prefer the look and feel of white ceramic. SSDC-200-W has a white dripper and black base, a practical capacity of 200 mL, and includes 40 white V60 02 paper filters.

The main choice compared with the glass Switch is the dripper material and appearance. It retains the same immersion control and can also be used with a standard V60 pour-over technique.

Steep with one pour or use staged pour-over brewing

The Switch controls the outlet with a stainless steel ball at the base and a switch. Lift the switch to CLOSE to hold hot water in the dripper and steep the grounds. Press it down to the flat OPEN position to let coffee flow through the paper filter into the vessel below. The switch stays open, so draining continues after you release your finger.

Steeping first and draining afterwards separates immersion and filtration into two steps. If you leave the switch open before pouring, you can use it for pour-over coffee like a V60. To compare the two methods, use the same dripper and adjust the grind, pouring technique and steeping time.

Use and Cleaning

Close to steep, open to drain

  1. Wash before first use. Set the dripper securely on a server or brewing stand, fold the paper filter along its seam and place it in the dripper.
  2. Lift the switch to CLOSE, add the coffee grounds and pour in hot water to steep them.
  3. After steeping, gently press the switch to OPEN and let the coffee drain fully. Lift the switch again before your next brew.

Adjust the steeping time and grind to your preference. For pour-over coffee, leave the switch in OPEN before pouring.

Cleaning and Storage

For everyday cleaning, hand wash with a soft sponge and neutral detergent, rinse thoroughly and let dry. Handle the ceramic dripper, silicone base and switch joints gently when washing. Avoid knocks and do not scrub with metal tools.

The stainless steel ball controls water retention. Pay attention to its position when washing, and make sure the dripper and base are securely fitted before brewing.

Dispatch information

After payment is completed, we will deliver the item within 24 hours of the order collected on the working day. The product booking depends on the product replenishment time and is usually sent within 10-14 working days. If the product is booked for too long, guests can also apply for a refund from us within 15 working days from the date of purchase.

Shipping Information

All shipments are sent to "SF Express". Free shipping in Hong Kong (excluding remote areas or offshore islands) is allowed if the entire store spends an amount of HKD$500 or above. If the consumption amount is less than HKD$499, we will charge an additional HKD$30 as a shipping fee subsidy, without limiting quantity and weight. Exchange & Refund Policy
