The HARIO V60 MUGEN is a dripper designed for one pour and 1–2 cups. It keeps the V60 cone shape but has no spiral ribs on the inside, unlike the classic V60. The filter paper sits close to the inner wall, and the star-shaped channels slow the coffee's flow, making everyday brewing more straightforward.

Choosing a dripper

Both options have the same brewing structure and cup capacity. Choose between them based on weight, feel and appearance.

MUGEN is sized for 1–2 cups, has no size options and uses V60 02 cone filters.

One-pour design and brewing

• Designed for one pour: Brings the main pour together in one continuous step, reducing the need for multiple pours.
• Inner wall without spiral ribs: The filter paper sits close to the dripper, limiting fast drainage down the sides.
• Star-shaped channels: Coffee flows along the channels at the base towards the opening, completing the brew at a slower flow rate.
• Removable stand: Use it with the stand on a cup or server, or remove the stand to use a suitable dripper holder.

MUGEN flows differently from the classic V60, so it is listed separately from the classic V60 material options.

Dimensions are listed in width × depth × height order; the ceramic model is Arita-yaki.

How to use

1. Fold a V60 02 cone filter along its seam, place it in the dripper and rinse it with hot water.
2. Add ground coffee and level it gently. Set the amount of coffee, grind and water to suit your recipe, then complete the main brew with a continuous pour.
3. Once the coffee has drained, remove the dripper. If the flow is noticeably fast or slow, adjust the grind size.
4. After use, let the dripper cool, clean it with water and a soft sponge, then let it dry thoroughly.

• Avoid knocks and sudden temperature changes with the ceramic model.
• Avoid scratching resin or stand surfaces with hard-bristled brushes or abrasive cleaners.
