Kalita Wave Pot Leather Cowhide Pour-Over Kettle

Product introduction

Wave Pot Leather is a dedicated pour-over pot that separates boiling from pouring: boil water in another vessel, then transfer the hot water to the pot for pour-over coffee. Its long, slender spout works with the tilt of the body, suited to a routine of preparing hot water first and then concentrating on the coffee bed and the rhythm of pouring in stages.

A brown genuine cowhide cover wraps the body and handle, bringing the metal profile and the natural texture of leather together in one tool. The leather cover is removable, allowing the body and leather to be cleaned separately before reassembly. This model is chosen for its pouring function and leather texture, with no need to place it on a hob to boil water.

The body measures 230×125×175mm and weighs 500g. When placing it in your coffee area, check the overall dimensions and space for holding it. After use, keep the body dry and store it in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Use and cleaning

First use and everyday washing

Remove the leather cover first, then wash the body with dishwashing detergent and a soft sponge or cloth. Rinse and dry completely before putting the leather cover back on.

Cleaning and storing the leather

Genuine leather may release colour when wet or rubbed and must not be washed with water. If it gets wet, gently press with a dry cloth to absorb the water, then let it dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep the leather cover away from high humidity, flames and high temperatures. When cleaning is needed, remove it from the body first and use a leather-specific cleaner.
