Its pronounced ribs highlight the crisp definition possible in this ceramic tradition. The asymmetrical body rises higher on one side, while a single small outlet at the base moderates the flow. Classic lettering, a sturdy presentation box and Japanese-inspired packaging complete the edition.

An open section beneath the dripper lets you observe the coffee as it falls. The base is stamped with the Hasami ware logo, echoed by the recessed logo on the included saucer. A measuring scoop marks approximate portions of 8 g, 10 g and 12 g, and a basic brewing guide is included.

The single-hole, fan-shaped form allows more immersion than many fast-flow drippers. It can be used with light roasts, while medium to dark roasts may show greater sweetness and body when the contact time is adjusted to suit the coffee.
