Introduction

HARIO Cafeor holds ground coffee directly in a stainless steel mesh and rests on a coffee cup or server for pour-over coffee. Add grounds, wet the coffee bed, then pour in stages. The coffee passes through the mesh into the container below. It suits those who want to keep direct pouring while using fewer disposable paper filters.

A polypropylene frame supports the metal mesh, which allows coffee oils through with the brewed coffee. Remove the whole dripper after brewing, wash it and use it again. In summer, you can also put ice in the cup below and brew directly over it using your iced pour-over recipe.

CFOD-1B is the 1-cup model, supplied with an attachment ring for cups with openings of approximately 5–10cm. CFOD-02-B is the 1–4-cup model, with more brewing space. Choose the smaller model for a single cup or the larger one for sharing. Before using either, check that its base rests securely on the container rim.

Use and cleaning

1. Rest the dripper securely on a cup or server. Use the attachment ring with the 1-cup model.
2. Add ground coffee, wet the coffee bed evenly with a little hot water, then pour in stages according to your recipe.
3. Remove the dripper after brewing, empty the grounds and rinse residue from the mesh with clean water.
4. Clean the frame and metal mesh with neutral detergent and a soft sponge. Dishwasher safe. Avoid pressing or scraping the mesh with stiff brushes or sharp tools, and air-dry before storing.
