Autospin has no separate start button. Set the tool steadily on a compatible portafilter and it begins automatically on contact with the basket. Lift it to stop early, or allow the preset cycle to finish. Alternating forward and reverse movement is intended to reduce the tendency of one rotation direction to push coffee grounds toward the edge of the basket.

Twelve fine needles sweep the coffee bed in a fixed planetary path, reaching approximately 12 mm deep. This structure is suited to breaking up clumps formed after grinding before tamping and to organising coffee distribution. Extraction will still be affected by the coffee, grind size, dose, basket, tamping and espresso-machine settings. Reference values: 22mm

The four-point support keeps the tool level on standard 58 mm straight-wall baskets, while providing basic protection for the needles when it is placed on the counter. The open top lets you observe the internal rotation directly. Do not pour coffee grounds into the tool from the top, as this may affect the motor.

• After use, clear coffee grounds from the needles and body with an air blower, soft brush or dry cloth. Do not rinse or submerge the body. Before cleaning or replacing spare needles, make sure the tool has stopped. The needles are fine and sharp; avoid impact or directly touching their tips during storage and cleaning.
• No. Diameter alone is not enough. This tool requires a mm straight-wall basket and does not support baskets with curved inner walls or three-lug portafilters.

• A distribution tool can help reduce clumps and uneven distribution, but cannot guarantee an extraction outcome on its own. Grind size, dose, tamping, basket, brewing pressure and coffee condition are all important.
• Do not pour coffee grounds into the tool through the open top.
• Do not rinse, submerge or charge the tool while it is wet.
• The needles are sharp. Keep them away from children and take care of your fingers during use, cleaning and replacement. Reference values: 22mm
