Cleaning & Care

After each extraction, empty the basket, rinse the basket and metal parts of the portafilter with clean water, and brush coffee grounds from the group gasket. After steaming milk, wipe the steam wand with a soft cloth and release a little steam towards the drip tray to clear milk from the holes.

Unplug the machine and let it cool before cleaning the body. Wipe with a soft cloth dampened with clean water; avoid abrasive tools, alcohol and corrosive cleaners. Do not immerse the machine. Keep wooden parts away from water, hot water and steam, and dry them immediately after cleaning. Hand-wash the drip tray with mild detergent and warm water. Never put the portafilter or baskets in a dishwasher, and keep the handle out of the water when soaking the metal parts.
