Cleaning & Care

After each extraction, empty the filter basket and rinse it and the metal parts of the portafilter with clean water. Brush coffee grounds from the group-head gasket. After frothing milk, wipe the steam wand with a soft cloth and release a little steam towards the drip tray to clear milk from the holes.

Unplug and let the machine cool before wiping the body with a soft cloth dampened with clean water. Avoid abrasive tools, alcohol and corrosive cleaners; do not immerse the machine. Keep wooden parts away from water, hot water and steam, and dry immediately after cleaning. Hand-wash the drip tray with neutral detergent and warm water. Do not dishwasher-wash the portafilter or baskets; when soaking metal parts, keep the handles out of the water.
